About

Inflammation Creations
Chris in a hospital bed
Founded in 2024, Inflammation Creations spawned from a hospital bed as owner and founder, Chris Pasquarella, was experiencing a severe Ulcerative Colitis flare up. Chris, who has battled with the disease since its onset in 2022, fought through rounds of four of the top UC medications, complications from Lyme Disease and C-Diff, and all of the symptoms that come along with the all-too hidden disease.

Frustrated with the constant fatigue, pain, urgency, bleeding, hospitalizations, failed medications, and complications, Chris needed an outlet to generate a more positive outlook to keep pushing forward. To achieve this, he created Inflammation Creations which primarily serves as a merchandise brand featuring custom designs inspired to outwardly show the world the visual representations of the effects of the diseases which like to hide in the shadows.

Since his diagnosis in 2022, Chris ultimately ended up needing a total proctocolectomy and end ileostomy surgery (which didn't come without complications). Self described as the war of his life, Chris continued to 'Refuse to Lose' and draw positive energy from the brand that kept his mind occupied on the bigger picture since 2024.

Today, Chris has fully recovered from his life-altering diagnosis and surgery and is grateful to feel stronger and healthier than he ever has before. He hopes, through this brand, that he can share his story with others who may be struggling so they know light is at the end of the tunnel.

About the Logo

Inflammation Creations
Designed by Studio Carbon, the Inflammation Creations logo was carefully curated to embody both Chris Pasquarella's passions and the physical manifestations of his inflammatory disease (Ulcerative Colitis). The logo was specifically designed to capture the sentiments of Authenticity, Strength, and Resilience; values which are required by those enduring symptoms of inflammatory diseases.

The 'I' within the logo contains motorsports inspired flames which symbolizes 'inflammation' and the 'C' was designed to symbolize the shape of a human colon (or large intestine). With all of these intricacies considered, the Inflammation Creations logo came to life.

About Chris Pasquarella, Owner & Founder

Picture
Chris Pasquarella's earliest childhood passion was motorsports. Since five years old, he became an avid fan of NASCAR and driver Jeff Gordon. Gordon's raw talent, passion, and humble nature made him the perfect role model and inspired Chris to jump into the motorsports world himself. At seven years old, Chris was logging laps on his computer with a steering wheel and pedal set where he learned how to operate a manual transmission. By 14 years old, he took his passion to the physical realm and started go-kart racing. Over the next 10+ years of his life, he competed in all sorts of racing vehicles ranging from Skip Barber Formula 2000 race cars to Mazda Miatas in 24 hour endurance races.

While car racing and motorsports have always been Chris' primary passions, he also dabbled in creating some of his own merchandise businesses along the way as another form of self expression. He created a custom clothing brand called Keep Pushing (later rebranded to RAYZSE), and even operated the merchandise for his younger brother's music career (Villusion). Today, this experience and desire for expression through clothing and merchandise design has been revived through Inflammation Creations.

Outside of his passions for motorsports and merchandise design, Chris loves cycling, hiking, swimming, building / contracting work, playing with his dog, traveling, and spending time with his family. Professionally, he's a Product Manager with an eye for developing new and innovative solutions to drive value to both users and clients.

After Chris' ileostomy surgery, he's finally making his way back into the world of motorsports. Knowing well that this route is not a cheap one, he hopes inspiring others through this brand can help him stay on track while also contributing to a cause (the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation) close to him and those enduring challenges similar to his own.
